How to Use Real VNC via Computer Remote Control
Real VNC (Virtual Network Computing) is software that enables the user in logging on and have the quickest network access to computers in a different location. This allows a person in a certain place to log on to a distant computer even without his personal presence. This is most helpful in training people in performing related IT tasks. Furthermore, employees may log on to another computer unit to upgrade and install software. Below are the steps on how to use Real VNC via computer remote control.
- Download Real VNC’s server edition and install it. Double click download link and follow the instruction by filling up the information needed for complete installation of server edition. This will be your remote host.2. Install Real VNC’s viewer edition to your computer labeled as controlling computer.3. Search “Programs”, click “Real VNC” and select “VNC server.” Run VNC server from start menu. When the system appears, right click the icon and then select “Options.”
4. Now click the button for VNC password authentication by selecting the “Authentication” tab. Then you can now set a password, which you can disseminate to the authorized computer users.
5. Select “Apply” on the host computer while simultaneously keeping the other programs running. And then launch VNC viewer. On the target server computer, enter IP address.
6. Type the password then the connection will now be completed by VNC; you will see the server’s desktop showing on its window. Clicking on that window provides access to the server.
With a computer remote control, training students or employees is made much easier. You wouldn’t have to personally go over each trainee; you can look over their activities and check them while sitting comfortably in front of your own computer.
